Roger attended the University of Louisville and earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in both Politcal Science and Sociology on August 16, 1983. He was admitted to the U of L School of Law and received his Juris Doctor on December 20, 1985. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association on 04-25-1986.
