Michael Hejsel Hansen

Michael Hejsel Hansen is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in high power electrical systems, particularly in the wind industry. Currently serving as a Project Manager at R&D - Engineering Solutions & Consulting since August 2016, Michael focuses on MW size test rigs, including electrical machines and power converters. As the founder of Hejsel ApS, Michael operates a company delivering electrical engineering and solar power systems. Previous roles include Project Manager at Siemens Wind Power, where responsibilities included building test rigs for Direct Drive Generators, and Generator Specialist at DONG Energy REN Power. Michael's experience also encompasses lead development roles at Vestas and significant supervisory roles in international projects with FLSmidth. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from the Engineering College of Copenhagen.
