Peter Striekwold

Peter Striekwold is a Special Advisor to the Director at RDW, where they provide strategic guidance on automation, innovation, and research in the automotive sector. Previously, Peter held various positions, including Vice-chair of an expert group on automated driving and Co-chair of a working group focused on developing validation methods at UNECE from 2015 to 2018. At RDW, they served as the manager of the Type Approval Department and Senior Advisor for Vehicle Technology. Peter also worked as the Technical Director at Liftinstituut Holding B.V. from 1995 to 2005. They earned a Ph.D. in logistics and mechanical engineering from Twente University.
