Richard Bell

Richard Bell is an experienced professional in engineering and operations management, currently serving as Operations Engineering Manager at Re.Group since July 2023. Previously, Richard held the position of Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Opal Group from May 2019 to July 2023, and prior to that, served as Director of Real Estate at Volvo Trucks from July 2013 to May 2019. Richard's expertise also includes time as Chief Site Engineer for Plant Engineering and Maintenance at Volvo from December 2007 to July 2013, and Engineering Director at St Regis Paper Company Ltd from January 2000 to October 2007. Richard began the career as Chief Engineer for New Taplow Papermill at St Regis Paper Company Ltd (DS Smith Packaging) from March 1993 to January 2000. Richard holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management and an HND in Engineering/Industrial Management, having completed education at FCFE from 1982 to 1993 and Thorncliffe Comprehensive School in Barrow-in-Furness from 1977 to 1982.
