Riyana Zafira Razalee

Riyana Zafira Razalee has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and sectors. Riyana Zafira currently holds the position of Director of Sustainability at Re-Nuble since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Business Development & Strategy at Re-Nuble from March 2020 to January 2023.

In 2023, Riyana was selected as a Women in Power Fellow at 92NY Women inPower, a year-long fellowship program designed to provide peer support, mentorship, training, and coaching to senior-level female leaders across all professional sectors with a focus on social impact.

Before joining Re-Nuble and 92NY Women inPower, Riyana worked at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs as a Deputy Project Manager for the Capstone project from September to December 2019.

From 2012 to 2018, they held various roles at CIMB, including Special Project Manager from April 2017 to July 2018, Special Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer from November 2014 to March 2017, and Assistant Manager in Private Equity from June 2012 to November 2014.

Riyana's earlier work experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at the Asia Institute, The University of Melbourne from June to October 2011, a Sponsorship Officer at The Global Poverty Project Australia from February to June 2011, and a Research Assistant at the International Humanitarian Law Division, Australian Red Cross from July to November 2010.

Riyana Zafira Razalee has a diverse education history. Riyana Zafira completed their Master of Science (MS) in Sustainability Studies at Columbia University from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, in 2018, they obtained a Modern Standard Arabic Certificate from the Arabic Language Institute of Fez, Morocco. In 2008, Riyana earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Melbourne, where they also completed a Foundation Studies program at Trinity College in 2007. Their Foundation Studies included coursework in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Psychology. In 2002, they completed their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) from Sri Aman Girls School. Additionally, Riyana obtained a certification as a Certified Mentor from Mentorloop in 2021.
