Nicholas Garcia

Nicholas Garcia is an Associate at RE Tech Advisors since October 2022, previously serving as a Sustainability Services Analyst. Nicholas completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Global Studies with a Spanish minor and a Sustainability Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin in 2022. Experience includes a Zero Waste Intern role at The University of Texas at Austin, where composting initiatives were implemented in ten buildings, and outreach strategies were developed for over 50 staff and faculty members. Additionally, Nicholas worked as an Immigration Case Management Intern at the Equal Justice Center, conducting intake interviews and assisting with casework, and as a Research Affiliate at Innovations for Peace and Development, building a dataset on waste trade regulations. Earlier, as an Orientation Advisor at The University of Texas at Austin, Nicholas provided guidance to incoming students on course registration through one-on-one and group sessions.
