David Ferencik

David Ferencik has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. David started their career at FirstEnergy, where they held various positions in structural engineering and project management. David then worked as a Structural Engineer and Project Manager at Thorson Baker & Associates, Inc., where they oversaw the design of retail, commercial, and institutional buildings. After that, Ferencik joined R.E. Warner and Associates as a Chief Civil Engineer, where they managed civil and structural projects and led a team of engineers. David later transitioned to Louis Perry & Associates as a Principal/Lead Structural Engineer, where they prepared structural design calculations and reviewed designs by department staff. Currently, Ferencik is back at R.E. Warner and Associates, serving as the Director of Operations and previously as the Manager of Operations, Senior Project Manager, Senior Structural Engineer, and Structural Department Manager. In these roles, they oversaw the technical aspects of structural projects, coordinated design aspects, and generated calculations and design drawings.

David Ferencik earned their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Toledo in 1993. David went on to complete their Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures and Foundations from Cleveland State University in 1997.
