Michael Garman Sphr

Michael Garman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at REACH Cyber Charter School since September 2021. Garman has an extensive background in human resources, having held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at PHEAA from December 2011 to September 2021, and serving as Human Resources Director for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs from May 2009 to December 2011. Additionally, Garman has experience in leadership roles as Vice President of Veterans Resource Central and as a Board member for both the Pennsylvania Veterans Foundation and CAPHRA. An adjunct faculty member at Penn State University-Mont Alto for over two decades, Garman's military experience includes serving as Command Sergeant Major in the US Army for nearly 21 years. Garman holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, along with a high school diploma from Boiling Springs High School, PA.
