Daniel Futerman

Daniel Futerman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel is currently the Head of Engineering at Reach Digital Health, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Jembi Health Systems for over 13 years, holding positions such as Senior Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, Lead Architect, and Lead Developer. Daniel also briefly served as a Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2009. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at the Medical Research Council from 2008 to 2009.

Daniel Futerman completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 2004 and 2007. Daniel then pursued further studies and obtained a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2008 to 2009. In 2011, Daniel enrolled in Cape Peninsula University of Technology to pursue an MTech degree in Interaction Design, which is still ongoing. Later on, between 2017 and 2019, they attended the University of the Western Cape and completed a Master's degree in Public Health. In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained a certification in Business Analysis Fundamentals from the Faculty Training Institute in 2012.
