Schalk Visagie is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and DataOps. Currently serving as the Lead DataOps Engineer at Reach Digital Health since May 2021, Schalk has also held positions as a Senior DataOps Engineer and Senior Data Scientist within the same organization. Prior to this role, Schalk worked as a Data Scientist at Kantar from October 2019 to May 2021 and at 2U from March 2018 to October 2019. Schalk's career began as an Analyst at Skybound Capital Group from January 2016 to March 2017. Academically, Schalk holds a Master's degree in Economics & Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), awarded between 2017 and 2020, as well as a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Stellenbosch University, completed in 2014.
