John started their career as a Foreign Currency Specialist at China Construction Bank, where they conducted research on financial derivatives and analyzed hedging on foreign currencies. John then interned at FAW, China's largest state-owned car manufacturer, as an Export Consultant, completing negotiations with customers in Vietnam and researching new markets for FAW. John also had a brief role as a State Filing Analyst at Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company, where they filed rate, rule, and form changes across multiple states and conducted research and analysis on the Homeowner Line of Business.
