Kavitha Balaji

Kavitha Balaji has over 13 years of work experience. Kavitha started their career in 2006 at Verizon as a Specialist IT Quality Assurance, where they were responsible for preparation and execution of Test Cases for various releases of application, assisted agile teams and implemented all test plans in accordance to need of development projects, and prepared scripts using BPT (Business Process Testing) with QTP. In 2012, they joined Daiichi Sankyo as a QA Consultant, where they were responsible for Functionality Testing, Interoperability Testing, Mobile Analytics Testing, Power Consumption Testing, ADA Compliance Testing, and Database testing. Kavitha also automated testing of mobile devices using eggplant and did compatibility testing using iPhone, iPad Peek. In 2013, they joined McGraw Hill Financial as a QA Lead Consultant, where they were responsible for preparing the Estimates for Automation of the project, preparing the QA tasks and timeline of completion of the task in Microsoft Project Plan, maintaining a QA project plan specific for Project, preparing the test plan document, conducting Review meetings with BA and the user to finalize on the requirements, creating Test plan for Functional testing, executing them in Test lab, reporting defects, and following up till the closure of the issue. In 2017, they joined PSC Biotech as a Senior Validation Engineer. In 2018, they joined LivingMatrix as a QA Lead and Phraze as a QA Specialist, where they were responsible for preparing test Plan, test scripts and test execution reports, generating and documenting test conditions and test cases based on use cases and requirements, and preforming Technical test for various data flow and exception processing. Kavitha then joined CorEdge Talent as a Product Owner, where they worked with Business to ensure that each release provides business value to end users, sales, and marketing, and provided product direction and vision to the Development/Delivery Team as per SLA. Kavitha also created and maintained regularly the solution vision, roadmap and backlog of work. Finally, in 2019, they joined REACH | Vantage Solutions as Senior Vice President - Product and Product Manager, where they collaborated with product managers, customer support representatives, offering managers, legal team to define the direct strategy for customers, collaborated with architects, engineers, and engineering managers to deliver product roadmap items for the Service providers, Fleets & Call centers, understood the current process of a customer & identified the gaps & provided solution to fit the product for the customer, provided solutions for the integrations, developed epics and user stories in JIRA for features, prioritized items for the development team to estimate and consume, and performed release planning with the development team to arrive at release date and effort.

Kavitha Balaji has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Information Technology from Satyabama University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2008. Kavitha also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Anna University, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, Kavitha Balaji has certifications in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO\u00ae) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in 2021, HP QC 10, HP QTP, ITIL V3, and PRINCE2 Foundation.
