Flavio Andrade has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. Flavio started their career in 2002 as a Senior Software Developer at Focusnetworks Interactive, where they worked on creating websites and systems using ASP and later migrated to ASP.Net with SQL Server as the database.

Flavio then joined Locaweb in 2010 as a Technical Coordinator, leading a small team responsible for support systems, customer service, billing, and integrations with SAP. Flavio also actively participated in planning, design, and architecture of applications, as well as implementing agile methodologies as a Scrum Master.

In 2016, Flavio worked at the eduK, an online course platform, as a Software Engineer. Here, they contributed to rebuilding the monolithic application into micro-services, focusing on business rules for users, payments, subscriptions, content, and progress tracking. Flavio also developed a React/Redux application for frontend and used Rest/HTTP and RabbitMQ for inter-service communication.

Flavio returned to Locaweb in 2020 as a Software Development Specialist. During this period, they played a vital role in transitioning from a monolithic back-office application to micro-service-based apps, particularly in support, customer service, billing, and SAP integrations. Flavio also maintained a legacy C# application for checkout processes.

In 2021, they joined Imaginary Cloud as a Developer, contributing to software development projects until 2022 when they transitioned to their current role as a Software Engineer at Reachdesk.

Flavio Andrade completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Advanced React and Redux: 2020 Edition from Udemy, Management 3.0 from Adaptworks, and Modern React with Redux from Udemy Brasil.
