João Bolinhas

João Bolinhas has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and test automation. João is currently serving as the Head of Quality Assurance at Reachdesk, where they are responsible for designing the QA strategy and closely monitoring system performance and customer experience.

Prior to their current role, João worked at Sky Portugal as a Senior Performance Engineer, where they developed an automated recording pipeline to support performance tests and created scripts using Gatling. João also served as a QA Lead on various projects, including Sky Store, Sky X, and Sky Sports Box Office, where they managed both backend and frontend applications. Additionally, João worked as an Automated Test Engineer, developing automated frameworks and supporting the backend component of Sky Store.

Before joining Sky Portugal, João was employed at Truphone as an Automated Test Engineer, where they worked with the development team and was responsible for testing activities, including test scenario definition and development of test automation frameworks using Selenium.

João's professional journey started at Wintrust, where they worked as a Consultant, developing internal testing frameworks for multiple companies and utilizing tools such as c#, jmeter, SoapUI, OATS, HP Unified Fuctional Testing, and Silk Test.

João Bolinhas has a strong educational background in the field of Computer Science. João completed a Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2004 to 2008.
