Ian Williamson

Ian Williamson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ian is currently working as the Vice President of Technology at Mantis since 2024. Prior to this, Ian worked at Reach plc from 2017 to 2022, where they held the positions of Director of Commercial Development and Head of Ad Product. At Trinity Mirror plc from 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Senior/Lead Developer, leading website and backend system development for 50 newspaper publications. Ian also worked at Wood Mackenzie as a Principal Consultant from 2012 to 2013, where they assisted in the selection and integration of a Taxonomy Management System. As the Head of Java Technologies at Digirati from 2007 to 2013, Ian played a key role in defining best practices and developing the Java practice within the organization. Ian also worked as a Principal Consultant/Lead Developer at Oxford University Press in 2011, a Project Lead at Amcor in 2011, and a Senior CMS Consultant at Welsh Assembly Government in 2011. Ian's extensive experience also includes founding and serving as Director at Novodata Limited for almost two decades. Ian briefly worked as a Lead eCommerce and Access Control Consultant at News International in 2010. Overall, Ian has a strong background in technology leadership, commercial development, and backend system development.

Ian Williamson completed their A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Ingatestone Anglo-European School from 1977 to 1984. Ian then pursued a BSc degree in Computer Science at the University of York from 1984 to 1987.
