Laura Cross

Laura Cross is an accomplished audience editor and social media writer with extensive experience in content distribution and communications. Currently, at Reach plc since September 2021, Laura has achieved over 4.5 million page views in one month for the Humber region across various platforms. Previous roles include social media writing and content design at Cats Protection, where Laura won the STARS award for effective newsletters during the pandemic, as well as content creation at Swift Group Limited, resulting in significant improvements in social media performance. Laura’s background also includes public relations work at the National Day Nurseries Association, reporting for JPIMedia and Barnsley Chronicle, and academic qualifications including an MSc in Social Research from the University of Hull and a BA in Journalism from The University of Huddersfield.
