Jim Donahue has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim began their career in 1997 as an Admin Assistant at CarrAmerica and worked there until 1999. Jim then joined Xcel Energy as an Administrative Assistant for a brief period from February 2003 to October 2003. In 2004, Jim worked as an Office Manager at Broomhall Brothers for eight months. From April 2005 to February 2011, they served as a Data Analyst at Lipper, a Thomson Reuters Company. In 2011, Jim joined Truestone, LLC as a Computer Support Technician and worked there until December 2015. Since January 2015, they have been working at NuAxis Innovations, where they started as a Desktop Support Technician and is currently serving as a Service Center Analyst. Jim's roles have involved various responsibilities, such as imaging and deploying new computers, installing approved software, and providing technical support to end users.

Jim Donahue attended Fairfield Prep from 1979 to 1983, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study. In 2011, they received a certification in A+ Network + from New Horizons in the field of Information Technology. In 2014, they further pursued their education at New Horizons, obtaining a degree in MS Windows Server 2012 and CompTIA Security +, also in the field of Information Technology. Additionally, Jim Donahue has acquired several certifications including HDI Service Center Analyst from HDI in May 2017, as well as Network + CE and A+ CE from CompTIA in August 2011 and May 2011, respectively.
