Chris Golden

Chris Golden, PhD has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity. Chris is currently serving as the CISO for React Health and React DX at React Health, formerly known as 3B Medical, Inc. Prior to this, they were a Board Member at the Cyber Security Global Alliance.

Some of their previous roles include Senior Cybersecurity Strategist at Industry Workforce Solutions, Inc., Senior Security Consultant at Churchill & Harriman (C&H), Inc., and Chief Information Security Officer at SCP Health. Chris has also worked as a CISSP Instructor at CyberVista, NetCom Learning, and Sprintzeal.

In addition, Chris has served as a Strategic Advisor to the Board of Directors at Integrity House, where they focused on creating a cybersecurity program that meets the strategic objectives and cost requirements of the non-profit organization. Before that, they were the Director of Information Security at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, where they presented regularly to the Board and Executives and was responsible for security strategy planning and information security risk management.

Throughout their career, Chris Golden, PhD has demonstrated expertise in risk management, compliance, privacy, and vendor management, among other areas of cybersecurity.

Chris Golden, PhD has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Miami, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Chris later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Regis University, completing it from 1992 to 1994. Chris furthered their education by earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College between 2000 and 2004. Chris also completed a certificate program in Data Analytics at Cornell University. In terms of leadership and planning skills, Chris attended the Air War College in 2010-2011, where they studied Organizational Leadership, Strategic Planning, Budget Formulation and Execution, and Thought Leadership. To enhance their expertise in Cybersecurity, Chris pursued studies at the University of South Florida and obtained additional certifications, including CISSP, HCISPP, and certifications from ISACA and the Blockchain Training Alliance. In 2022, Chris completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cybersecurity Leadership from Capitol Technology University.
