Cara Thuringer is a Development Associate at Reactivate, focusing on renewable energy development and community solar initiatives since November 2023. Previously, as the Resource Hub Manager for the Chisholm Legacy Project, Cara provided support to Black and Femme climate justice activists from November 2021 to September 2023, promoting equity and justice in climate action. With experience as a Senior Research Specialist at CNA Corporation and previous roles including environmental internships and organizing for conservation initiatives, Cara holds a Master of Science in Geospatial Data Science from the University of Michigan and multiple bachelor's degrees in fields related to environmental studies and policy.
