Emma Gee is an accomplished professional in economic growth and regeneration with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple councils. Currently serving as Acting Executive Director of Economic Growth and Neighbourhood Services at Reading Borough Council, Emma is responsible for key initiatives including the procurement of a development partner for a £250 million regeneration scheme and overseeing the Council's Climate Strategy. Previous roles include Deputy Director at Peterborough City Council, where Emma led projects related to the establishment of a new university and strategic city planning, as well as multiple positions at Swindon Borough Council, focusing on town centre development and economic growth. Emma holds a Master's degree in Town and Country Planning from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Southampton.
