Shatamara Davis

Shatamara Davis, Ed.S has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Shatamara is currently serving as the Content Team Lead at Reading Horizons since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Reading Advisor at Shelby County Schools from 2018 to 2022. Shatamara also held the position of Director of Student Support at Memphis Scholars from 2017 to 2018. Shatamara has also worked at K12, where they served as an Instructional Coach from 2014 to 2017 and as a Special Education Teacher from 2011 to 2014. Shatamara started their career as a Special Education Teacher at Memphis City Schools from 2006 to 2011.

Shatamara Davis, Ed.S has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Special Education and Teaching from LeMoyne-Owen College, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Shatamara then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Trevecca Nazarene University, from 2006 to 2009. Lastly, they completed their education with a degree in Education Specialist (Ed.S) in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from Cambridge College, from 2009 to 2011.
