Coleen O'Brien

Coleen O'Brien is a seasoned utility manager with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as General Manager at Reading Municipal Light since July 2013. In this role, Coleen oversees a budget of over $90 million and leads a team of more than 80 staff across various divisions including Integrated Resources, Engineering and Operations, and Facilities. Previously, Coleen held the position of Utility Director at Danvers Electric, managing a $55 million budget and a staff of over 45. Coleen's career began as a Project Engineer at Stone and Webster Engineering, followed by a role as Project Manager at Dominion Resources, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management and engineering. Coleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
