Alex Webbe

Alex Webbe serves as the RSSL Digital Strategy Lead at Reading Scientific Services Ltd since September 2011, where responsibilities include developing and delivering the digital strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering a digital culture. Alex also functions as Section Manager, leading the Investigative Section, which encompasses multiple departments. Previously, as Senior Group Leader in Investigative Analysis, Alex managed a team of scientists and executed strategic business plans with a focus on analytical chemistry in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Additionally, Alex has experience with Mondelēz International as Senior Group Leader, focusing on R&D in the confectionery sector. Prior to these roles, experience at the Forensic Science Service included managing teams and implementing significant operational improvements in the Sexual Offences department. Alex holds a Master's degree in Applied Management from Henley Business School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Plymouth.
