Simon Fisher

Simon Fisher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pharmaceutical chemistry and quality control. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Reading Scientific Services Ltd since April 2014, Simon effectively manages projects within the pharmaceutical laboratory, ensuring customer requirements are met. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at GE Healthcare from April 2000 to April 2014, advancing from Senior Laboratory Technician to QC Chemistry Operations Manager, successfully leading the team through regulatory audits. Simon's career began at ESSO Research Centre as Chief Experimental Officer, focusing on blending and testing industrial oil formulations, and included a role as Manufacturing Technologist at Engelhard Industries, where significant process improvements were proposed and implemented. Simon earned a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Loughborough University of Technology between 1979 and 1982.
