AKIRA ORIKASA

Akira Orikasa has a strong background in the field of visual effects and computer graphics. They started their career at CafeFX in 1998 as a CG supervisor, where they worked until 2008. After that, they joined Industrial Light & Magic as a Lighting and Lookdev Artist, where they stayed for 12 years until 2020. In 2020, Akira moved to Facebook Reality Labs as a Technical Artist for a year before joining Ready At Dawn Studios in 2021 as a Principal Artist.

Akira Orikasa's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from California State University, Chico, which was obtained between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, Akira Orikasa pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Senshu University in Japan.
