Matthew Cohen

Matthew Cohen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and investment research. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Waterfall Asset Management LLC since March 2010, Matthew has held various roles including Managing Director of Investment Research and Analytics and Vice President of Portfolio Management. Concurrently, since August 2021, Matthew also holds the position of Chief Technology Officer and Deputy COO at Ready Capital. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Highbridge Capital Management and a position on the Mutual Fund Trading Desk at Pershing, a BNY Mellon company. Matthew began a career in sales at Horizon Foods before earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University at Albany, where involvement in the Financial Analyst Honors Program was notable.
