Kim Beals, PhD, RD, CSSD

Kim Beals, PhD, RD, CSSD has worked in the nutrition field for over 25 years. Kim currently serves as the Chief Science Officer for Ready® Nutrition, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were an Adjunct Associate Professor, Associate Director Neuromuscular Research Laboratory Warrior Human Performance Research Center, and Coordinator of Graduate Studies in Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh, beginning in 1994.

Kim Beals, PhD, RD, CSSD has a long history of education. Kim completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Exercise Physiology at the University of Pittsburgh between 1998 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist from Drexel University between 1985 and 1987. Her educational career began with a Bachelor's degree in Community Health Education from Temple University in 1984.
