Dr. Katie Marks-Cogan has over 10 years of experience as a board-certified allergist and immunologist. Dr. Katie is the owner and board-certified pediatric & adult allergist at Clear Allergy, a leading allergy and immunology clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Marks-Cogan also served as the Chief Allergist at Ready, Set, Food!, a company focused on food allergy prevention. Prior to these roles, they worked as a board-certified pediatric & adult allergist/immunologist at 1301 20th St and South Bay Aller. Dr. Katie also has experience as an allergist/immunologist at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Marks-Cogan completed their fellowship in allergy/immunology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and their residency in internal medicine at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Katie Marks-Cogan has a distinguished education history. Dr. Katie obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physiology and Neurobiology with Cum Laude honors from the University of Maryland in 2001. Following this, they attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine and earned their MD degree in 2005.

Dr. Marks-Cogan then pursued a three-year Internship/Residency in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from 2005 to 2008. After completing their residency, they further specialized in Allergy and Immunology, undertaking a Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 2009 to 2011.

Additionally, Dr. Marks-Cogan has obtained certifications from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) as a Board Certified Allergist/Immunologist, and from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) as a Board Certified Internist.
