John Hartley Harris has extensive experience in various leadership and advisory roles in the technology and healthcare industries. John is currently serving as the CFO and EVP of Operations at ReadySet Surgical, a leading cloud-based healthcare supply chain solutions company. Prior to this, they were a member of the Board of Directors at Statflo, a compliance-driven one-to-one outreach solution provider, and a member of the Board of Advisors at FoxNet Inc., a full-service cloud infrastructure company.
From 2013 to the present, John has been a shareholder and founding Chief Commercial Officer at Kognitiv Corporation, a company revolutionizing trading collaboration in the travel industry. John has also been a shareholder at Montfort, where they served as the former managing partner, president, and chief commercial officer, bringing innovative wealth optimization solutions to entrepreneurs and businesses.
In 2018, John held a shareholder position at Keyfactor, contributing to its successful exit as the Chief Revenue Officer and EVP of Operations. John played key roles in sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources, achieving significant increases in shareholder value and elevating SaaS metrics to industry-leading levels.
John has a long-standing history of involvement in high-potential companies through their family office, JHH Holdings Inc., where they focus on advisory services, strategic investing, and board positions. John targets companies with a high-performance culture, large addressable markets, defensible IP, and strong leadership.
In the past, John served as the Founding General Partner and Director at The New Carbon Economy Venture Fund, where they led successful investments and asset sales. John was also the Chief Revenue Officer, Board Observer, CFO, and EVP of Operations at eSentire, contributing to its successful acquisition by Warburg Pincus.
Furthermore, John provided strategic advisory services to the CEO and leadership team at BSM Wireless, a provider of wireless solutions for commercial, government, and law enforcement organizations.
Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in revenue growth, commercialization, performance management, merger and acquisition support, capital planning, organizational design, and mentoring.
John Hartley Harris attended Oakridge High School where they studied math and received an Honours degree. Afterward, they enrolled in the United States Military Academy at West Point where they focused on Leadership and obtained a degree in Thayer Leadership Studies. Following their time at West Point, John pursued further education at the Ivey Business School at Western University, where they earned an HBA degree in Business.
