Jason Brown

Jason Brown has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Jason is currently Senior Staff Software Engineer at ReadySet. Prior to joining ReadySet, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Stripe, where they supported the Online Databases org and primarily focused on the DocumentDB team. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where they researched, launched, supported, and contributed to CockroachDB. Jason also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, where they were involved in the Apache Cassandra team and worked on various projects, including the rewriting of Cassandra's inter-node networking layer. Jason also has experience at Major League Baseball Advanced Media, Crisp Wireless, Synaestetic Software, and UpToDate, where they held various engineering roles and contributed to the development of different software products and systems.

Jason Brown attended Ball State University from 1997 to 1999. During this time, they pursued a Master of Music degree with a focus on Music Composition.
