Real Ideas Organisation

We’re Real Ideas - and we believe that social enterprise has the power to create a fairer world. Drawing on our extensive experience of setting up and running social enterprises, we offer a range of imaginative and ethical services including consultancy, project delivery, research, training and qualifications, all designed to empower others to transform their world. As a social enterprise ourselves we operate a triple bottom line with a focus on the social and environmental impact of our business and we don’t have any shareholders, which means all profits are reinvested back into the work we do. By providing individuals with the skills and confidence to work collaboratively to address real challenges, RIO enables them to develop talents, gain qualifications, create new networks and discover potential they never realised existed. The experience is important but it’s not all about the individual journey: Real Ideas' approach to co-production sees high quality, creative solutions applied to a range of issues: solving social problems, changing spaces, breathing life into old buildings, creating new networks and customers, igniting activity and energy. We currently run Game Changer Cornwall, we are the Bridge organisation for the Arts Council in SW, Creative Traineeships, Start Something (our own enterprise support programme) and a range of other projects supporting young people and communities.
