Jérémie Emond is the Director-General, Real Property and Workplace Services at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). NRCan develops policies and programs that enhance the contribution of the natural resources sector to the economy, improve the quality of life for all Canadians and conduct innovative science in facilities across Canada to generate ideas and transfer technologies.
After 23 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a military engineer, Jérémie joined the Public Service in 2016 with National Defence as the Director of portfolio planning. In 2019, he moved to the Correctional Service of Canada as the Senior Director, Facilities. In 2021, he joined NRCan in his current position.
Jérémie is a graduate of Laval University with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. He holds a master's in Defence Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada and a master's in Public Administration from École Nationale d’Administration Publique.
