Cory Davis

Cory Davis has a long history of working in the risk management and construction industries. Cory began their career in 1994 as a Project Engineer for Soletanche Bachy, where they managed project teams and oversaw quality control tests for a fast-track hydroelectric plant. In 1995, they worked as a Project Control Engineer for Inquip Associates, Inc., where they customized estimating software and modified ACT database to track potential project leads and personnel. In 1999, they worked as a Financial Management Program Intern for GE Capital, researching and analyzing franchise restaurants for pro-forma profitability. From 2000-2005, Cory worked as a Project Manager for Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. In 2005, they worked as a Primavera Enterprise Manager for DR Horton, managing Primavera Enterprise scheduling for construction of 35 master planned communities. From 2010-2013, Cory worked as the Director of Capital Renovation and New Construction for Chicago Public Schools, where they managed 18 contracts and was responsible for the “capital impact” for over 10,000 stakeholders. In 2013, they worked as the National Performance Director for McKissack & McKissack. In 2014, Cory founded Capital Construction Solutions, where they developed a module-based integrated risk management software platform. In 2018, Cory founded Real Time Risk Solutions, deploying risk management platforms with advanced analytics to analyze risk across any industry in real-time.

Cory Davis received their B.Eng in Civil Engineering from McGill University in 1994, with a minor in management. Cory then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Arizona in 2000, with a focus in Finance. Finally, in 2014, they completed their Master of Science in Real Estate Law (with Honors) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
