James J. Florian

James J. Florian currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Related Companies since April 2016, also holding the roles of Senior Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Head of Infrastructure Technology. Prior to this, James served as vCISO at energyRe from November 2023 to August 2024, and as Director of Technology and Information Security at St. Joseph's Healthcare System from January 2014 to January 2016. James also held the position of Director of IT Infrastructure Services at Sterling National Bank and managed IT Infrastructure Services at Atlantic Health System. James earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and a Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership and Development from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
