Darren Boisjolie has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Darren is currently the VP of Engineering at RealDefense, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering at CDK Global, starting in July 2022.
From 2016 to 2022, Darren worked at Avast Software as the Senior Director of Engineering. Prior to working at AVG Technologies, Darren was the Co-Founder and CTO of Bsecure Technologies from 2001 to 2011. Darren developed SaaS and cloud solutions dedicated to safeguarding children online. Darren achieved market penetration into consumers, small businesses, and OEM manufacturers and directed product development, operations, and support.
In the early stages of their career, Darren founded Black Sheep Technologies Inc in 1999 and worked as the Founder/CEO until 2001. Darren also held positions at Analytical Services, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering & Technology from 1996 to 2001, Micro Systems, Inc. as a Project Manager/Lead Engineer from 1995 to 1996, Jacobs Sverdrup in various roles from 1988 to 1995, and Applications Research Corp. as a Computer Scientist/Research Analyst from 1986 to 1988.
Darren Boisjolie has a strong education history in the field of computer science. Darren obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of West Florida between 1982 and 1986.
