Reality Hack
Jared Scott is an AI Software Engineer at PUNKU since August 2024, contributing to cutting-edge projects in artificial intelligence. Currently serving as an organizer and mentor at Reality Hack, Inc., Jared also assists in the Engineering Leadership Lab at the Gordon-MIT Engineering Leadership Program, where responsibilities include the organization and evaluation of leadership development initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant in the MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering, where Jared supported project-based classes, and as a Software Engineer/Staff at MIT, where automation solutions were developed for student management. Jared’s research experience spans multiple institutions, including the MIT Media Lab and Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on computer vision tools and nanodevices. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.

Reality Hack is a community-run XR hackathon held at MIT co-hosted by a team of community volunteers (alumni, friends, and others) with the Reality Hack Organization 501-c3 and a student org VR/AR@MIT. We all share a common goal: to educate, empower and enable people to be part of the XR industry.
