Alba Racero

Alba Racero is a Senior Research Manager and Lead Chemist at Really Clever since July 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in research and development. Prior to this role, Alba served as a Research Chemist at Worn Again Technologies from February 2021 to July 2023, leading pioneering cellulose recycling projects and successfully scaling up a chemical process for large-scale plant production. Alba's prior experience includes working as a Polymer Researcher at POLYMAT, where significant contributions were made to the development of poly(ionic liquid)-based materials and biodegradable cationic polyesters. Educational credentials include a Master in Chemistry and Polymers and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, both obtained from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Additionally, a brief stint as a Computational Scientist involved studying dynamic covalent bonds in self-healing polymers.
