Kristian Spangsege

Kristian Spangsege has worked in the software development field since 1996. Kristian began their career at Oracle Danmark A/S as an IT Supporter, before moving to Framfab A/S in 2000 as a Systems Developer in R&D. In 2004, they joined Instadia A/S, where they held the roles of Team Leader and Software Developer in R&D. In 2007, they moved to Omniture A/S as a Senior Software Engineer in R&D. In 2009, they worked at Wiinz Ltd. as a Software Developer, and in 2010 they worked at Xact as a Software Developer, where they automated software/system migration from COBOL, COOL:Gen to modern platforms. From 2010 to 2012, they also worked at Press2go as a Software Developer. Since 2012, they have been working at Realm (TightDB) as a Software Developer, developing a high performance, high efficiency database in C++, with language bindings for Linux, Mac OS X, iPhoneOS, Android, and Windows.

Kristian Spangsege attended Allerød Gymnasium from 1989 to 1991. Kristian then went on to attend DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1992 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. In 2011, they attended Stanford University for Artificial Intelligence.
