Amanda McLenithan (Nixon) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of industrial automation. Amanda began their career in 2011 as an Engineer - Co-op Student at FANUC America Corporation, where they rotated through various groups and took on responsibilities such as being a partial and full owner of demo cells showcasing new robot technology. In 2014, they completed a thesis project focused on developing universal end-of-arm tooling for warehouse bin picking applications. Amanda continued working at FANUC America Corporation and took on the role of Engineer/Product Manager - Material Handling Segment from January 2015 to May 2019. In this role, they provided engineering support for high-speed picking, packing, and palletizing robot applications, and also supported product management tasks for the robot line, including conceptualization, design, integration, and trade show support. From May 2019 to December 2021, they worked as a Senior Engineer/Product Manager, leading the engineering and product management efforts for FANUC's CRX collaborative robot line. Amanda contributed to the development of product specifications, conducted product evaluation testing, and provided engineering support for integrator/customer applications. In 2022, Amanda joined Realtime Robotics, Inc. as a Senior Product Manager, where they were responsible for the RapidSense and RapidPlan product line, focusing on revolutionizing industrial automation with real-time, collision-free motion planning. Amanda then transitioned to the role of Staff Product Manager, leading efforts for motion planning and perception products, as well as logistics application support. Amanda McLenithan (Nixon) obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University between 2010 and 2014. Amanda also has a certification as a Scrum Product Owner, which they obtained from Scrum.org in January 2022.
