Gordon Prejean is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a career spanning over four decades in the utility sector. Since November 2005, Gordon has been with Realtime Utility Engineers, Inc., where responsibilities include engineering all aspects of electrical substations ranging from 4 kV to 500 kV. Prior to this role, Gordon served as Senior Electrical Engineer at Laffayette Utilities System from May 1992 to November 2005, focusing on substation design, including physical arrangements and protection and control design. Gordon’s earlier experience includes a tenure at TXU Electric Delivery from January 1980 to May 1992, where tasks involved substation design, distribution planning, and addressing regulatory issues. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, completed in 1979.
