Valentina Buzzi has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Valentina has worked as the Head of Asian Development at Reasoned Art since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Curator & Artistic Director of the Italian Pavilion at the Gwangju Biennale Foundation from March 2023. Valentina also worked as a Contributing Writer for Artsy and eazel inc. in 2022. Valentina held the role of Curator at Maison Suri in the same year. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Art Consultant and Independent Art Writer, undertaking freelance writing projects for various magazines and curatorial texts. Valentina was the Korean Art Editor at Art Valentina Says from December 2021 to December 2022. Valentina also served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona from April 2022 to August 2022, teaching a course on "Trans-materiality". In 2020, Valentina worked as the Global Project Coordinator for Human Signs - Global Art Project.
Valentina Buzzi's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at Istituto Vittorino Bernini, where they studied Classical Studies until 2014. Following that, from 2014 to 2018, they attended IULM University, specializing in Art, Design, and Media. Valentina then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Cultural Policy and Management at the University of Warwick, from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they continued their education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, where they are currently pursuing a Ma + PhD in the Graduate School of International Studies, focusing on Socio-Cultural Studies.
In addition to their academic achievements, Valentina has obtained various certifications. In August 2017, they received the IELTS certification from IELTS Official, indicating their proficiency in the English language. Furthermore, in May 2021, Valentina became an academically affiliated member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
