Gordon Steinecke

Gordon Steinecke has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Gordon began their career as an intern at WATTERS Designs, Inc in August 2012, where they assisted in conceptualizing and researching designs. Gordon then became an Assistant Designer, responsible for creating color palettes, mood boards, and sketching technical flats until May 2013.

In May 2013, Gordon joined Rebel Athletic as a Designer, where they conceptualized and created designs for the high-end athletic wear market. Gordon was involved in all stages of development and ensured product quality and attention to detail.

Gordon quickly advanced at Rebel Athletic and became the Managing Director of Design in January 2014. Gordon held this role until December 2014 before being promoted to Vice President of Design in December 2014. As Vice President, Gordon led and directed the creative design, technical design, and product coordinator teams. Gordon also oversaw the development of yearly look book apparel designs across multiple brands.

Gordon's success continued, and they eventually became the Chief Design Officer at Rebel Athletic in January 2022. In this role, they provided executive leadership and strategy for all areas of design, leading the design teams to achieve their full potential. Gordon is known for their expertise in cultivating ideas, problem-solving, and scaling for company growth.

From 2008 to 2012, Gordon Steinecke attended the University of North Texas, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
