Matilda Johansson Kisro has a diverse work background spanning over a decade. In 2007, they worked as a Musik-drama-studiohandledare, where they initiated various projects focusing on creative expressions for individuals with disabilities. Matilda then worked as a counselor for women who have experiences of domestic violence at Unga Kvinnors Värn from 2012 to 2013.
From 2009 to 2011, Matilda served as a Handledare, both at Locus boende för placerade ungdomar and Midsommarkransens boende för män med missbruksproblematik, providing guidance and support to young individuals and men with addiction problems.
Matilda also worked at Nacka kommun as a Musik-drama-studiohandledare from 2007 to 2010, where they initiated projects to increase visibility of the municipality's activities for people with disabilities.
In 2014, Matilda joined Studieförbundet Bilda, initially working as a Consultant within culture and society, developing ideas and collaborations with music institutions, bands, and artists. Matilda then became the Manager for the region's work on gender equality and inclusion and also took on the role of Project Manager for Mötetsplats Södertälje and Bilda Studios.
In 2016, Matilda founded Normen Produktion, focusing on creative norm consciousness, gender equality, and inclusion within clubs, DJ events, lectures, workshops, and projects. Matilda also founded KLUBB NORMEN, which aimed to promote visibility and inclusivity within the culture scene.
Matilda was involved in various roles at Nectima from 2017 to 2020. Matilda initially worked as the Head of Project Management, responsible for developing and implementing the company's agile processes, recruitment, and communication with clients. Later, they took on the role of Marketing Manager, led strategic planning and implementation of marketing, and developed the company's brand. Matilda also served as a Senior Project and Product Manager, working closely with development and design teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Matilda also worked at X in 2016 as a Lecturer, Workshop Leader, Panel Moderator, and Panellist, and at EMcreations as a Freelance Musician from 2005 onwards.
Currently, Matilda Johansson Kisro is the Marketing Director and Inclusion Manager at Rebel and Bird since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Marketing Consultant and Digital Project Manager at the same company from December 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were involved in marketing strategy, communication, and agile project and product management.
Matilda Johansson Kisro started their education at Marie Cederschiöld University in 2009 and completed their studies in 2013. During this time, they pursued a degree in Socionom with a specialization in ethics and life philosophy. In 2005 and 2006, Matilda attended Betel Folkhögskola, where they focused on music. After completing their initial degree, Matilda returned to Marie Cederschiöld University in 2013 to pursue a Master's degree in Civil Society Organization and Operational Analysis, which is currently ongoing.
