Oliver Newton

Oliver Newton is a dedicated sports scientist and performance analyst currently volunteering with the Fremantle City Football Club NPLW team, where responsibilities include prescribing and delivering tailored exercise programs. In addition to this role, Oliver has been a team member at Rebel Sport since October 2021, specializing in various sports and enhancing customer experience. Oliver served as the Head of Sport Science for the U13 - U16 Football West academy boys teams, addressing overtraining issues and creating individualized strength and conditioning programs. Experience also includes volunteering with Claremont Football Club to support injured players and working as a support worker to teach fundamental movement skills to children with disabilities. Oliver's academic background includes a Bachelor of Philosophy (Hons) in Sports Science and Exercise and Health from The University of Western Australia, complemented by experience as a peer academic tutor.
