Gert-Jan Fernhout

Gert-Jan Fernhout is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advisory services and urban analytics. As a co-founder of Rebel since July 2002, Gert-Jan has contributed to the firm's growth into a prominent consultancy with over 250 employees across multiple global offices, focusing on areas where government involvement is crucial, such as infrastructure and healthcare. In addition, Gert-Jan co-founded Springco Urban Analytics in January 2015, specializing in utilizing Big Data to analyze consumer preferences and behavior across various sectors, including real estate and healthcare. Another venture, CartoTool, launched in October 2017, offers user-friendly GIS technology for visualizing data. Prior roles include consultancy positions at ECORYS and Kolpron Consultants and a trainee position at ABN AMRO.
