Ruud Smit has extensive experience in finance and consulting, currently working as a Consultant at Rebel since August 2018, following a role as a Graduate Intern at the same company. Prior to this, Ruud served as the Chair and Board Member of the Rabobank Jongerenraad and completed a Graduate Internship in Capital Planning & Modelling at Rabobank. Ruud’s experience also includes a position as Board Secretary for the Particuliere Transport Coöperatie, where responsibilities included documenting board meetings, and a brief internship at PwC Nederland in Actuarial & Insurance Services. Academically, Ruud Smit holds dual Master of Science degrees in Econometrics & Management Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Systems & Control from Delft University of Technology, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University.
