Gilberto Villela

Gilberto Villela has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gilberto is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Rebound Dynamics since May 2022. Prior to this, from February 2020 to May 2022, they worked as a Software Solutions Engineer at StrataGen, where they also served as a Frac Advisor from May 2017 to February 2020.

From August 2012 to May 2017, Gilberto worked at Nabors Industries as a Field Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for quality control of well stimulation, creating post-treatment reports, and developing training curricula for equipment operators.

Before that, from December 2011 to July 2012, they worked at FTS International as a Field Engineer, providing engineering support during hydraulic fracturing jobs and ensuring quality assurance and control.

Gilberto also has experience working as a Fuel Operator at Brenntag, a Server/Cook at Capparelli's Italian Food & Pizza, and a High School Mathematics Teacher at Waco Independent School District.

Gilberto Villela obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physics from Baylor University, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they received a High School Diploma with distinction from the Science Academy of South Texas, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Gilberto has obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2023.
