Garrett John L.

Garrett John L. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Recently, they joined Re:Build Manufacturing as a Software Engineer in February 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Boot Camp Graduate program at Tech Elevator and also participated in a Java Development Bootcamp as a student from September 2021 to December 2021.

Garrett also has experience in the music industry. Garrett John worked as an Assistant Director at Charlotte Choir School and as an Assistant Music Director at St. Peter's Episcopal Church from May 2018 to August 2021. Before that, they served as a Music Director at St. James Anglican Catholic Church from June 2016 to May 2018, and as an Assistant Music Director at St. Paul's Episcopal Church from August 2013 to June 2016.

Garrett John L. has a diverse education history in the field of music and programming. From 2016 to 2018, they attended the Cleveland Institute of Music, where they earned a Master of Music degree with a focus on Organ Performance. During that time, they also pursued a Graduate Certificate in Historical Performance Practice from Case Western Reserve University.

Prior to their graduate studies, Garrett obtained a Bachelor of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music from 2013 to 2017, with a focus on Music Theory and Organ Performance. Garrett John also holds a High School Diploma in Organ Performance from the Interlochen Arts Academy.

In 2021, Garrett enrolled in Tech Elevator, where they are currently pursuing a certificate in Java Web Application Development Bootcamp.

In addition to their formal education, Garrett has obtained several certifications. In July 2021, they completed the Learn Vue.js Course from Codecademy. In July 2019, they earned an Associate Certificate from the American Guild of Organists - National Headquarters. Furthermore, in June 2016, they obtained a B1 Zertifikat from the Goethe-Institut Chicago.
