Mazin Ahmed

Mazin Ahmed has a long and varied career in the software engineering and development field. In 2007, they began their career as an Information Technology Officer at IDO Events Pvt. Ltd. In 2013, they moved to Male' Water & Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd. as an Associate Software Applications Developer. In 2016, they became Co-founder & VP of Engineering at Maakunbe, a food ordering mobile application in Maldives. In this role, they were 100% involved in the core product strategic planning, from idea to launch, and was responsible for designing software architecture and the infrastructure, managing a small team, and engineering backend systems, reporting tools, operational systems, and APIs. In 2017, they joined Build Easy as a Software Architect and Mihaaru as a Software Developer. In 2019, they joined LottieFiles as a Lead Full-stack Developer and Senior Full-stack Developer. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Senior Backend Engineer at rebuy recommerce GmbH.

Mazin Ahmed obtained a Certificate II and III in Information Technology from IBS Overseas (Pvt) Ltd in 2010. Mazin then completed an HND in Computing (Software Development) from the British College of Applied Studies between 2011 and 2013. In 2016, Mazin Ahmed received their Bachelor's Degree in BSc (Hons) Computing from the University of Wolverhampton. Additionally, they obtained an Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle in March 2016 and a Git Essential Training: The Basics from LinkedIn in February 2021.
