Deborah Cavalcante has over 18 years of professional experience. Deborah began their career as a Program Assistant at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) in 2004. In 2003, they held Assignments at Target Corporation and Wells Fargo Bank with Spherion. In 2007, they were the Assistant Director of Development and Marketing at Cibolo Nature Center & Farm. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Manager of Family Programs & Development Associate at myFace.org. During this time, they were also the Director of Advancement Services and Director of Internship Program at Poly Prep Country Day School. Most recently, they have been the Program Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Robotics Education & Competition Foundation since 2022.

Deborah Cavalcante has a varied educational background. Deborah holds a MAM in Management from Hamline University, a Pós-Graduação Gestão de Negócios e Projetos from Fundação Dom Cabral, and a Bacharel em Direito from Universidade de Fortaleza. Additionally, Deborah has obtained certifications in Groove Method Adult/Kids DANCEfloors Facilitator Training from The Groove Method ~ The World GROOVE Movement, Nia Technique Moving to Heal Teacher Training, and Nia Technique White Belt Teacher Training from Nia Technique.
